Faith-centered community for people in business
Bayside Business Builders is a community for business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals, and people exploring their next step. The group is connected to Bayside Community Church and is designed as a place where faith and the practical realities of work can be discussed together.
Participants arrive with different industries, experience levels, and seasons of life. Some are building companies. Some are leading teams inside established organizations. Others are between roles, considering an idea, working through a difficult decision, or looking for a healthier community around business. The group does not require everyone to be in the same place. Its purpose is to create room for prayer, honest conversation, mutual encouragement, and growth.
What a gathering is like
Meetings generally include prayer, introductions, a faith-and-business discussion or devotional, time for members to share experience, and an opportunity to name practical needs or prayer requests. The format is meant to be welcoming and useful rather than performative. A person may come with a business question, a spiritual question, a need for connection, or simply a desire to listen and learn.
The community recognizes that participation can change with seasons of work and family. Meaningful belonging is not reduced to perfect weekly attendance. People may engage consistently for a period, step away when life requires it, and return when they need the group again. The goal is to build relationships that remain available beyond a single meeting.
Business as stewardship
The group’s faith perspective shapes how business is discussed. Growth, revenue, marketing, leadership, hiring, technology, and operations matter, but they are considered alongside integrity, service, responsibility, family, generosity, and obedience to God. Success is not treated as proof of righteousness, and difficulty is not treated as failure of faith.
Members are encouraged to use their skills and businesses to create value, serve customers honestly, care for employees and partners, support their communities, and help one another. The group can provide practical feedback, introductions, prayer, accountability, and a reminder that business decisions affect real people.
Rob’s relationship to the group
Rob Lederhilger founded Bayside Business Builders in 2023 and helps lead the community with other leaders. Leadership is collaborative and should be verified against the group’s current roster immediately before launch or whenever names are added publicly. This page intentionally describes Rob’s role without implying that he owns the group or that it operates as a project of Lederhilger.org.
The independent Bayside Business Builders website is intended to become the primary source for community information, member communication, meeting details, and updates. The official Bayside Community Church listing remains an important authoritative reference for the group’s relationship to the church.
Separate from Kingdom Business Builders
Bayside Business Builders and Kingdom Business Builders are separate initiatives. Bayside Business Builders is a local Bayside Community Church activity group. Kingdom Business Builders is a distinct faith-based nonprofit/community initiative with its own mission and website. One does not own, operate, or function as a division of the other, and neither is part of Lederhilger.org as a legal entity.
That distinction allows each community to serve its own purpose clearly while still sharing values around faith, ethical business, fellowship, entrepreneurship, and restoration.
